Audience research for college magazine

I designed a questionnaire to help me decide the contents and style of my magazine. Here are the questions I asked, with the results included:

1) Do you have a job?
Yes – 6 No – 4

2) What content would you like in a college magazine?
Music – 4, Gigs - 1, Jobs – 1, learning to drive - 1, University Information - 1, College news - 1, Sport - 1

3) What are your hobbies?
Hanging out with friends – 2, Football - 2, Music - 4, Fishing - 1

4) Would you like a student input section?
Yes - 7 No – 3

5) Should the magazine be formal or informal?
Informal – 8 Formal – 2

6) Do you play an instrument? If so what?
No – 6 Yes – 4, Guitar, drums, piano, Bass

From these results, I have decided that my magazine will be a laid back, relaxed magazine, mainly based around the music scene e.g. up and coming bands, gigs, artist news etc. The magazine will also be A4 size.
